SYDNEY: Colour was the order of the day as David Jones staged a more muted than normal seasonal collections launch in Sydney yesterday morning (February 11).
Gone was the usual hoopla normally associated with such an event - including the chauffer-driven cars, after parties and buckets of champagne - with the event kicking off with a minute's silence for victims of the Victorian bushfires.
Sydney designer Lisa Ho scored the coveted opening spot when Miranda Kerr sashayed down the catwalk in a strapless green satin organza dress to open the event while Kerr closed the show wearing a Sass & Bide cream maxi dress.
Guests included Kirrily Johnston, Nicky Zimmermann and Alex Perry.
