BRISBANE: Youth retailer City Beach has secured an exclusive deal with surf and skate brand Oakley to stock the label on its new e-commerce site.
The agreement will see City Beach act as the only authorised online outlet for Oakley products in Australia.
The two companies have a 25 year history together, with City Beach stocking Oakley products in its stores over that time.
A selection of Oakley products will be launched on the site this week with a giveaway promotion. Sunglasses, watches, clothing, bags and backpacks will all be offered.
City Beach has 57 stores plus the new e-commerce site, which launched last November. It reflects the surf and skate lifestyle of the company and features You Tube videos, celebrity blogs and industry news.
Other brands stocked on the site include Billabong, Unit, Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Roxy and Havianas.
Since launching, City Beach has opened a customer call centre and an in-house photography and art studio to facilitate site operations.
