Childrenswear hasn't gone to the dogs after all

Thank you for a most enjoyable read in your "FromTheEditor" letter Thank God for sensible genes [Ragtrader June 16, 2006].
While I will not attempt to match the cleverness or wit of your letter, I nonetheless feel it my duty as fashion marketing and sales executive of Optimel - one of Australia's leading importers of designer European childrenswear - to reassure you and your readers that the spend is well worth the "sacrifice".
The attitude should be that you spend the money so that your child can wear their new designer outfit every second day (every other day it's in the wash!). Designer labels like Chipie, Confetti, and Jean Bourget are of unsurpassable quality, not to mention design, and can be worn and washed over and over again so that your child can wear amazing clothes everyday and not just for special occasions!
Everyone at Optimel wishes you the best of luck with your new family member.
