SYDNEY: Fashion fundraising events aimed at supporting flood victims in Queensland have reached crescendo, with over 500 products donated for an online auction and over $70,000 worth of prizes for a gala next week.

Fashion event organiser Lara Karamian, who's client list includes department store David Jones and Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, has received official endorsement for an online charity auction set to go live in coming days.

Karamian's 'Fashion.To.Aid' initiative will be supported by auction site Ebay, with a marketing campaign to publicise the some 500 designer goods on offer to consumers.

These include garments from Willow, Kirrily Johnston, Carla Zampatti and Uscari.

"We are aiming for [the campaign to go live] this Sunday," Karamian said.

'Sydney Hearts Queensland', a charity event organised by fashion public relations guru Sara Bray and menswear designer Donny Galella, has opened ticket sales to the public and industry.

For a $100 donation, guests will be treated to live entertainment, drinks and food at Sydney night venue Trademark next Tuesday.

Designers such as Alex Perry, Nookie, Henry Roth and Samantha Wills have all donated prizes for the evening, with over $70,000 worth of products up for grabs.

All proceeds from both events will be donated to the Queensland flood appeal. For more details on the fundraiser or to purchase tickets, contact donny@galella.com or assistance@sarabray.com.
