NATIONAL: This month 28 major shopping centres across the country will host a series of fashion events to ramp up consumer interest in fashion for spring and summer.
Colonial First State run centres including Chadstone in Melbourne, Chatswood Chase in Sydney and Queens Plaza in Brisbane will hold fashion parades, style workshops and industry talks to generate enthusiasm for new seasons trends. Apparel and millinery art installations, model searches and discount incentives will also be part of the drive.
Called In Season At, highlights include The Vogue Runway Event at Chadstone on September 16 hosted by Vogue magazine editor Kirstie Clements and the Sydney version hosted by Vogue Online editor Damien Woolnough on September 10.
In Season At is intended to be an annual event for the retail giant. It will run until September 30.
