SYDNEY: The organisers of Brand India have named 20 of the 50 companies scheduled to participate in the trade fair, just one month out from its start date.
Alok Industries, Indo Count Industries and One to One Garment Exporters are among those that will take part in the fashion, textiles and home interiors show. Other fashion and textile manufacturers among the confirmed exhibitors include Prem Textiles, RSWM Limited and Kandhan Knits.
To be staged at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 22 to 23, Brand India is designed to encourage business between Indian manufacturers and Australian garment, textile and home furnishing businesses.
The 2010 instalment is free to trade, and will be open from 9am to 5pm each day. The event is organised by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council and sponsored by the Indian government.
