NATIONAL: Surfwear retailer Billabong has officially opened its first branded airport store, following a rocky week on the market.
Located in Terminal Three of Singapore's Changi International Airport, the 92sqm store would stock a range of clothing, accessory and footwear products.
Billabong had partnered with airport retail operator Lagardère Services Asia Pacific to launch the store, following its successful tender for a mid-price brand name concession.
As reported on Ragtrader Online, Billabong's share price plummeted 20 per cent this week after it completed a $230 million institutional capital raising to pay down debt.
