BROOME: Best & Less has announced plans to bring its "get the look for less" fashion proposition to the shoppers of Broome, Western Australia.

The fashion, footwear and manchester retailer will open its first Broome outlet in June, bringing the total tally of Best & Less stores across WA to 20.

Best & Less executive director of property, Peter Millist, said the company had identified Broome as a strategic location for an outlet and had been looking for an appropriate site for some months.

The new store will comprise a 902 square metre space in the Paspaley Plaza Shopping Centre. Located in the heart of Broome's shopping and tourism precinct, the centre features a Coles supermarket and more than 25 specialty stores.

Targeting value-driven families, Best & Less opened its first store in New South Wales in 1965. Its acquisition by Pepkor Limited - a leading listed retail group in South Africa – in 1998, helped drive Best & Less' expansion to more than 175 stores in Australia.
