Beccaria debut in Yarra

The Australian operation is discrete from the Italian head office and is operated under exclusive license by partners Penelope and Angus Holt. The pair have launched a concept site in Melbourne’s South Yarra district, with a Woollahra/Paddington site scheduled to open in Sydney next year, followed by Brisbane and Perth over 2012/13.
Penelope Holt said the move was prompted by the market’s growing presence of luxury European players.
“There are positive influences coming through that the Australian top-end purchaser possesses the sophistication to appreciate style, complicated cuts and fabrics that are incredible.”

The launch range is concurrent with the European season, with spring/summer 2011 currently in store, along with permanent classic staples and access to special bridal orders. Autumn/winter 2011 will launch into stores over August.
Manufactured end-to-end in Milan, the offering includes ready-to-wear garments from $750 to $6000, as well as bridalwear and gowns from $3500 to in excess of $25,000.
