NATIONAL: Women's fashion label Barkins will launch a premium capsule collection in March to complement its autumn/winter 2010 offer.
The range, called ONE by Barkins is designed to offer customers better quality fabrics and more unique pieces. Prices will be slightly higher than the regular collection.
Due to hit stores on March 10, silk and leather will be key materials of the 10 piece capsule. A black cropped leather biker jacket will retail at $159.95 and a one-shouldered printed silk dress at $99.95.
A spokesperson for the brand said the premium offer will be released two times per season with a view to more in the future. The second premium drop for winter is due in store in May, with structured shoulders, ruffles and panelling featuring on garments.
The label has launched its regular autumn/winter line into stores, with more drops to follow in February and March. Key to the range are high collared coats, printed skirts, detailed T-Shirts, leopard print cardigans, 7/8 length denim jeans, blazers and boyfriend jackets.
Accessories include studded ankle boots, skinny belts, oversized handbags and black leather gloves.
Barkins has approximately 14 stores across Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
