SYDNEY: Fashion Group International of Sydney (FGI) is once again staging its bi-ennial pat-on-the-back ceremony, the Awards for Excellence.
Would-be entrants have just one day to submit their nominations for the event - open to all womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, footwear, accessories and textile business owners - with entries closing August 7.
The awards program features five individual categories: Rising Star, Sustainable Design, Innovation Excellence, International Achievement and Lifetime Achievement.
Past winners Nearly Nude, Helen Kaminski, DPK Australia, Signature Prints and Nicola Cerini.
The winners will be announced during a presentation dinner at Sydney's Centennial Parklands Dining on November 13.
