Austin Group offers Feedback for children
Manufacturing giant Austin Group has unleashed a new label into the childrenswear market.
Spanning across three generations - infant, toddler and teen - 'Feedback' is set to focus on affordable, non-seasonal basics and will officially launch at Fashion Exposed in September.
Already offering a select range of products to various childrenswear stores and boutiques throughout Australia, the label will also debut a swimwear line and a range of pants and dresses later this year. Austin Group marketing manager Coel Dart said the swimwear will be available for a September delivery while the additional line will be in stores for November.
"Feedback will be an ongoing range of essential basics that will continue to be updated and react to our customers needs," he added. "[It] will be backed up with generous merchandising and point of sales program that will create a strong concept area in store."
Confident the new additions will meet buyer and consumer needs, Dart said the current range of clothing is already performing well across the board. Consisting of printed T-shirts, polos, fleecy jumpers, tracksuits, cotton hoosies, cargo pants, denim pants and shorts, and tanks, Dart said retailers were making a "great margin."
"Already the amount of repeat orders and refill orders coming through is very pleasing. Feedback is working well in a wide range of retailers as it is such great value."
With printed tees priced from $9.95, basic tees at $8 and denim jeans from $15, the company is confident it has moved in on a gap for affordable children's clothing. The line is available in a large variety of bright colours and prints and is sold on a stock service basis.
"Feedback has been developed as a concept rather than a range, as [it] will cater for a wide range of consumers who shop in a wide range of locations."
