NEW ZEALAND: Australian denimwear brand Ksubi and high profile Kiwi label Karen Walker are just two of the big names thought to have agreed to be foundation tenants of a new retail development in Auckland.
The new department store is being built in the suburb of Takapuna and will house a selection of fashion, art and beauty brands including Stolen Girlfriends Club and Stephen Marr.
According to fashion blogger Isaac Hindin Miller the store, the first in the city for more than 100 years, will cover three levels and will be based on a concept similar to Paris' Collette or Milan's 10 Corso Como.
Hindon Miller, who blogs under the name Isaac Likes, said the store will have an official opening date of October 16.
