MELBOURNE: Childrenswear brand And Me Too will offer more seasonal oriented attire under its new ownership.
The ten-year-old label has been purchased by sisters Natalie Steck and Adele Last, who intend to offer more distinctive summer and winter styles in addition to transeasonal stock.
Since taking over the Australian-made brand in March, the pair have boosted its stockist reach from 38 to 44.
Classic, French inspired looks are key to the brand, with sizes ranging from zero to 12 for girls and boys. Striped T-shirts and Liberty of London prints are key to the range. Last said they intend to increase options for children aged eight to 12.
"The label is pitched to inner suburban mothers and grandma's who want their kids to look like kids," she said.
The sisters have backgrounds in marketing and business and intend to use this experience to grow brand recognition.
"We definitely have plans for growth, but it will always be a boutique label. We hope to be in the right boutiques – not in everywhere," she said.
Prices for the collection range from $6 for accessories to around $69 for a peasant dress.
Former owner, Nic MacIssac, runs the Melbourne- based Magnolia craft markets.
