NEW ZEALAND: Sportswear giant Adidas has entered into a three-year partnership with Kiwi national netball authority Netball New Zealand (NNZ).
The three-year deal, for an undisclosed sum, will see Adidas named the official apparel supplier to the group which includes national side The New Zealand Silver Ferns, the NZ Accelerant Squad, NZ Under-21s side, NZ Secondary Schools side and the NZ Umpires Squads.
The move complements Adidas' commitment to the number one ranked rugby side, The New Zealand All Blacks.
Adidas NZ country manager David Huggett said netball was a "spectacular" game and the company was thrilled to be involved with such an inspiring sport.
Adidas is currently working with NNZ to design a new Silver Ferns match dress and kit which team members will be wearing in the international netball season, starting in September.
