Historic Spanish espadrille house Castaner, which has a portfolio of private label clients including Hermes, Christian Dior and Chanel, has teamed with new Australian label ‘the fable collective’ to create a range of hand-made shoes for the local market. Priced from $180 for a pair of canvas flats to $400 for a pair of statement heels, the 14 style debut collection will launch exclusively online via www.thefablecollective.com before venturing into external stockists. Manufactured in Spain, the collection includes espadrilles, wedges, stacked heels and flats in fabrications of canvas, wood, glazed straw, raffia and silks.
