BRISBANE: The evolution of fashion wholesale company Orientique is almost complete. Just two years after husband-and-wife team Tom and Anna Tindall bought the company from its founders the repositioning of the company underwent one of its final tasks with the launch of the label's new swingtags.
While not significant on its own, the new branding program concludes a busy time for the company which has seen it relocate its head office from Sydney to Brisbane, bring in a new sales force, enter the New Zealand market and employ a new head designer in the form of Renee Perry.
The director of the 35-year-old company, Tom Tindall, said the changes had given the business a more competitive edge.
"The sales force is stronger are are much better equipped to service our [client base] . . . there is a new focus which has seen fantastic growth [in the state] which was not possible two years ago."
Aimed at the mature customer, the brand's ranges - which include womenswear, sleepwear and accessories - is sold in more than 600 boutiques across Australia and New Zealand.
