MELBOURNE: Arrow-sharp womenswear label Dizingof is shooting for the heart of directional fashion, having revealed its latest store in High Street Armadale opens this month, in line with its strategy to penetrate the Victorian capital's key fashion hubs.
Dizingof already operates three other stores in Chapel Street Prahan, Brunswick Street Fitzroy and Albert Coates Lane, central Melbourne. Its new position in Armadale's fashion-rich locale will place it among high recall fashion brands including Arabella Ramsay, Carla Zampatti, Lisa Barron, Nicholson and Scanlan & Theodore, which now call 'High Street' their home.
Established in 1999, Dizingof was created by self-taught designer Haim Bzezinski. The Melbourne based, locally owned label's signature style comprised a striking colour palette, directional cuts and structural versatility that defied mainstream trends, a spokesperson said.
Dizingof will celebrate the opening of its new store with an official launch party on June 5, featuring a live performance by Shirley Davis. The brand's full winter 08 range will be on display, accompanied by jewellery from Mozom Designs.
