Plus size womenswear label City Chic has taken its unique brand of high street fashion across the ditch. The label, a core brand of the Specialty Fashion Group stable, has opened a new concept store in Auckland with further plans to expand to other parts of New Zealand.
A City Chic spokesperson said consumer demand for flattering "fashionable sexy plus size clothing" had grown dramatically over recent years.
Boast more than 40 stores across Australia, the brand that recently launched a collaboration with Billion Dollar Babes, has also revealed plans to open a further three New Zealand stores before the end of March. The move coincides with several changes at the label, one of which saw it launch a new collaboration with Billion Dollar Babes designer Michelle Cooke.
City Chic is set to open three stores in New Zealand.
