SYDNEY: Top executives at high-end American brand Calvin Klein will shortly be winging their way to Australia as part of a unique collection launch. Calvin Klein CEO and president Tom Murray will be joined by several other company executives for the launch, which will be staged on Sydney harbour's Cockatoo Island.
Co-hosted by Australian actress Abbie Cornish and ck Calvin Klein creative director Kevin Carrigan, the invitation-only event will bring together all of the company's brands and products available in Australia to celebrate its 2009 collections.
Represented brands include ck Calvin Klein apparel, eyewear, watches, jewellery, Calvin Klein Jeans apparel and accessories and Gazal-licensed Calvin Klein Underwear.
Sydney is the latest in a series of cities worldwide to be identified by the company as an "exciting market" with previous launches staged in Tokyo, Shanghai, London, Dubai and New York.
The brand is stocked in boutiques and department stores across the globe including Macy's, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Debenhams and Myer.
