Mudpie to open in Australia

NATIONAL: United Kingdom-based trend forecasting service Mudpie is set to ramp up the competitive spirit of local agencies by opening an Australian office. The office, to officially open on January 5, will occupy the same market place dominated by Australian agencies including Scout and Melbourne-based operator Fashion Forecast Services.

Mudpie marketing manager Jo Little will relocate to Australia next month to run the office.

Little said the positioning of an office in this region was "instrumental" to the company's renewed focus on brand awareness and agent support across the Asia Pacific.

"The focus for this expansion will enable Mudpie to build relationships and communication lines between the UK and the Asia Pacific region, and enable direct training, support and product knowledge for their network of Asia Pacific agents and customers," she said.
