MELBOURNE: iconic workwear brand Hard Yakka has implemented a cause marketing drive on its core heritage childrenswear garment to drive sales and raise money for children's charity The Kids Foundation. For each sale of the "Kids Action Back Overall" - a mini version of Hard Yakka's iconic adult overalls - $1.50 will be donated to the foundation to support its work in the area of childhood injury prevention and recovery.

Priced from $39.50, the Kids Act Back Overall was designed to prevent kids' good clothing from being ruined while playing, while protecting them from the sun with its UPF 50+ sun protection rating, Hard Yakka marketing coordinator Laura Downey said.

“What better way to help the Kids Foundation than by donating a portion of sales from our safety-conscious Kids Action Back Overall,” she said.

“The proceeds will help the foundation fund their important projects and their work to raise awareness of safety in the home, community and workplace.”

The Hard Yakka Action Back Overall is available in khaki and navy in sizes suitable for three to 10 year olds. It is stocked in independent stockists nationally and Yakka Trade Centres.
