Colorado has claimed an Australian first: offering the longest manufacturer warranty on school shoes seen in Australia.
Colorado is offering a 12-month guarantee on its Resilience school shoe range, which has been designed with a team of podiatrists to suit growing feet and withstand the wear and tear of the playground.
The offer is on the whole shoe, beating the previous best offer of a six-month outsole.
Fusion Retail Brands Group General Manager Phil Scala has been in the shoe business for 30 years and said durability is one of the biggest challenges for parents.
“Kids spend up to 2000 hours in their school shoes every year. If you think about how your shoes would look if you wore them every day… they would not be in good shape after a year,” he said.
“That is the reality for school shoes, so we decided to design a shoe range we believe can go the distance, and if it doesn’t, we’ll replace them at no extra cost.
The 12-month guarantee on Colorado’s Resilience school shoes is available in Williams and Mathers stores around the country, and online.
