Graphic Artist – Apparel

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Graphic Artist to join this well established and continually expanding company. This exciting and challenging role requires and individual who will hit the ground running and demonstrate their initiative with creating new ideas and designs.

As a Graphic Artist, you will be required to:
-Develop yardage prints, placement prints, coordinating badges, embroideries etc
-Ensure all storyboards and artwork is correct and ready for buyer meetings
-Create and update miniatures required for all team members and buyers
-Take responsibility for the presentation of complete storyboards/booklets etc
-Keep up to date with new trends and implement graphic artwork to fit back with certain themes and stories
-Attend season forecast meetings

The following are essential for successful applicant:
-Proven experience in a Graphic Artist role or similar
-Experience within the apparel industry will be highly regarded
-Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Artistry or equivalent
-Proficient computer skills, including Adobe Illustrator
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
-Great communication skills, both verbally and written
-Great attention to detail
