As a Designer, your main responsibilities will include:
-Coordinate specification packs, sampling prototypes, costings and size sets to ensure that product development deadlines are met
-Research globally the seasonal fashion and colour direction across apparel, footwear, socks and hosiery to ensure that all sock product has synergy with the apparel, footwear & textiles trends
-Work closely with the Design Manager to develop innovative, volume, icon products into the business through market assessment and the business analysis process
-Design innovative ranges to meet all business targets
-You will also be responsible for the fit, quality and total look all product by ensuring the first sample, initial size sets, pre-production and advertising samples are all Design and Q.A. approved

To be considered for this role, you will need strong experience in a design role, preferably within the apparel/textile industry. You will also need tertiary qualifications in Textile Design/Fashion technology or equivalent. Sound computer skills including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are essential for this role as is previous knowledge of the textile, clothing and fashion industry, with a thorough understanding of knit construction and yarns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
