Production Manager – Childrenswear

This is a great opportunity to lead the Childrenswear Production Team of this well established apparel company. Your role as Production Manager will be to track all details of production orders to ensure overseas dates are achieved and all necessary items are tested and approved prior to shipment.

You will be responsible for the following:
-Calculate costings, negotiate prices with suppliers
-Source new fabric and factories
-Plan and place orders with the most suitable supplier/factory
-Issue purchase orders for production
-Follow up production orders and ensure the pricing and agreed shipment dates are maintained
-Review all stock on monthly basis to ensure all products are in stock
-You will take total ownership of orders from order placement to customer dispatch ensuring accuracy within required time frame

To be successful, you will have extensive experience in a Production role (or similar), ideally within the apparel industry. Have the ability to lead a team and work effectively to tight deadlines, with proficient computer skills.
