Fashion Incubator at MSFW
Location: Melbourne, Melbourne Central Shopping Centre
01 Sep - 04 Sep, 2008
Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW) will see the Melbourne Central shopping centre's Fashion Incubator making its mark this year with three fashion parades, celebrating the diversity of fashion from both up and coming and established designers.
'Beat' is the first of these parades on Monday September 1 and will emulate aspects of Melbourne’s street culture, with pieces reflecting the city’s laneways, hidden bars, galleries, modern architecture and unique cafe decor.
'Bamboo' will then take place on September 3 in Melbourne Central’s iconic Shot Tower Square and is a must for those who are looking for inspirational, environmentally friendly and organic one-off designer pieces.
Finally, 'Burlesque' on Thursday September 4 is an extravagant eveningwear parade which is sure to seduce and surprise, showcasing a vast array of eveningwear designs by Ryan Whelan, Josua Andreas, Fugue, Sarva, Wild Phoenix, Sideshow and fashion icons Jenny Bannister and Rhiannon Pietsch.
