Fresh from its critical success in 2007, the 3rd annual Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival - Brisbane, hosted by Hilton will be staged from August 24 to 29, 2008.

Timed to coincide with the arrival of Queensland's strongest fashion season; Spring/Summer, the Festival will feature an exciting array of top international, national and local designers, events and parades, accessible to a rapidly growing consumer audience.

Designed specifically to support, encourage and promote the local fashion and design industry, this six-day consumer driven Festival will again make its mark on the national fashion calendar via a series of sponsored group shows, educational workshop, industry forum, exhibitions and special functions, allowing more than 10,000 people to experience the theatre and excitement of this major fashion event.

The goal of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival is to promote Brisbane as a city of fashion and style, to increase awareness for our local industry and ultimately to increase sales. Core to the Festival’s objective will be to provide a platform for designers to launch their collections within a framework that aims to support and drive exposure for their label.

This annual campaign will not only promote local designers but, importantly, provide the Brisbane economy with an event which will draw fashionistas from all over Australia.
