What is your day to day role?

My role is to manage the buying and merchandising strategy for our Apparel, Kids and Baby Categories.

What is an initiative you have worked on that you are most proud of?

I have been involved in the introduction of core key categories and lines, which has resulted in massive growth over the past 3 years. It’s always a great feeling to see your hard work pay off so significantly. I’ve also worked hard to bring highly desired brands to our customers as being able to supply their demand is so important.

What is the most challenging aspect of your role?

The most challenging aspect is also the most rewarding. Getting new brands on board that didn’t always see as a fashion destination is hard work, but once they are on board they love it and see instant benefits. We are becoming an essential channel for fashion brands - getting them on the site and then getting them great results is very rewarding.

What is the most rewarding? is all about offering the best products at the best prices, so being able to give our customers the most exciting deal is core to what we do. To make this happen we build strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure we grow together, creating the best outcome for everyone involved which I find the most rewarding.

What do you see as the biggest change coming for fashion retail?

The biggest change is the increased competition within fashion brands in eCommerce. If fashion brands aren’t doing eCommerce well, they won’t exist. Customer expectations are now at an all-time high, so as a business we are always trying to be innovative to ensure customers get the best and our suppliers also come out a winner.
