Zara has opened its first West Australian store today - and flagged further expansion along the coast.

Zara unveiled its tenth Australian store this morning at Garden City Shopping Centre in Perth.

The 1,338 square metre site is spread over two floors and stocks men, women and kids collections.

The store marks the arrival of Zara to Western Australia.

The Spanish giant has confirmed a second store will open at Murray Street Mall in Perth later this year.

Zara is also set to open at Robina Town Centre in the Gold Coast in coming months, marking a first for Queensland.

The new Garden City store will open with spring/summer 2014 and operates 19 fitting rooms in total.

It will receive deliveries of new stock twice a week.

Since its arrival in Australia in April 2011, Zara now has stores across the country.

In NSW, these include Westfield Sydney (Pitt St Mall), Westfield Bondi Junction and Westfield Chatswood.

In Victoria, these include Bourke St Melbourne, Chadstone Shopping Centre, Highpoint Shopping Centre and Westfield Doncaster.

It also operates at Burnside Village in Adelaide and The Canberra Centre in Canberra.
