Zara Home unveiled its 500th global store in Sydney's Pitt St Mall last night to VIP guests before officially opening to the public today.

Spanning 500sqm across two levels the flagship offers consumers and will offer customers a full range of its home décor offering as well as Zara Home Kids.

The store will aim to provide immediacy to the market with will deliver new products twice a week.

The space also features design elements integrated into the building's original architecture including neural colours, chestnut wood and mother-of-pearl marble floors.

In addition to the Sydney store opening the brand has today launched its online storemarking the brand's digital debut in the southern hemisphere.

The website will feature home textiles such as bed, bath and linen lines alongside furniture, tableware, cutlery, loungewear and gift items.

Zara Home opened its first Australian store in Melbourne's Highpoint Shopping Centre earlier this year.

No further plans for expansion have been revealed.
