Target Australia has continued its design overhaul, this time moving into the premium home decor space ahead of Christmas.

It follows the launch of trend-led workwear line Preview, along with a new vision across its entire apparel business.

Released in time for Christmas, the design-led décor range introduces three trends: Natural Nostalgia, Festive and Heritage.

Target Hardgoods head of design Emma Duxbury-Thompson said the ranges are aimed to appeal to all families.

"It’s such a special and sentimental time of year, and we’re so happy our designs will feature in so many Australian homes.

“As families come together at this time of year, we love to see our Christmas collection playing a special part in their celebrations.”

The Natural Nostalgia collection is inspired by nature with a hand-crafted feel and pared-back colour palette, led by white and natural tones.

Highlight products include a mixed faux foliage wreath ($30), pebble loose tableware (from $6 each) and the premium wooden Christmas lantern ($22).

The Festive collection features warm, subtle tones of blush and peach set off by accents of gold and silver.

Statement products include the 36-piece bauble pack in silver or peach ($12), faux fur tree skirt ($39) and the white floral wreath ($29).

Meanwhile, Target’s Heritage collection features a palette of gold, red and green. Hero Heritage products include the light up wooden tree ($20), tabletop Santa with lantern ($25) and the Christmas scene music box ($25).
