French jewellery maison Van Cleef & Arpels has opened its first boutique, and flagship store, in Sydney.
The boutique, located on Castlereagh Street, is the first in the world to incorporate the 1906 room - a space dedicated to the brands historical creations from Van Cleef & Arpels' private collection.
The stores design takes influence from both art deco and oriental themes, as well as earthy tones juxtaposed with plush furniture and ornamentation.
The 1906 room is shaped after the hexagonal outline of the Place Vendôme and features iconography from the brands archives.
This is the second boutique for Van Cleef & Arpels after opening its first store on Collins Street, Melbourne in October 2016.
