UNIQLO Australia has revealed a new cast of brand ambassadors, ahead of a series of Sydney store openings this year.

The Japanese fast fashion giant will open at MidCity and Macquarie Centre in coming months.

Newly appointed Uniqlo Australia brand ambassadors Claudia Karvan, Margaret Zhang, Gossling, Bruce “Hoppo” Hopkins and Donato Toce will feature in a new advertising campaign.

This follows the appointment of brand ambassadors for the company's Melbourne launch.

The new cast will showcase the arrival of the brand's spring/summer 2014 range.

Uniqlo describes its brand ambassadors as:

  • Claudia Karvan is one of Australia's most respected and acclaimed film and television actors. Claudia is a five time winner of an AACTA / AFI Award and a four time Silver Logie winner. Claudia co-created, produced and played the lead roles in Spirited and Love My Way and was recently seen in Puberty Blues. Other credits include The Secret Life of Us and Broken Shore.
  • Margaret Zhang is one of Australia’s most renowned fashion bloggers and style icons. Her popular blog, Shine by Three showcases her sophisticated style, travel adventures and lifestyle experiences, along with her professional career as stylist, writer, photographer and creative director.
  • Gossling, Helen Croome, is an Australian folk/pop singer and songwriter, most known for her debut album ‘Harvest of Gold’, released in 23 countries since its debut in 2013. Gossling has collaborated with Australian rapper 360 on platinum single ‘Boys Like You’ which reached #3 on the ARIA charts and has toured nationally with Vance Joy.
  • Bruce Hopkins, known as “Hoppo”, is a professional lifeguard and television personality most known for his role on reality television series Bondi Rescue. Hoppo’s hard work and commitment as Head Lifeguard at Bondi Beach won him Australian Lifeguard of the Year in 2006 and two gold medals at the Australian Surf Lifesaving. 
  • Donato Toce is an Australian chef turned gelato maker, and co-owner of iconic Sydney institution Gelato Messina. Known as Australia’s best gelateria, Gelato Messina originally opened in Darlinghurst, Sydney in 2002 and since then has opened up four additional stores in Sydney and a first Melbourne store in Fitzroy.
