Uniqlo Australia will open a second store in New South Wales.

The store will open inside the $400 million redeveloped Macquarie Centre, joining H&M.

Uniqlo announced plans for its first Sydney store in MidCity Pitt Street Mall in May.

The Macquarie store will be 1,514 square metres and open with the full spring/summer 2014 collection.

The collection includes a large range of linen, polos and Uniqlo's AIRism range.

It will also include the brand’s men’s, women’s, kids and babies collections.

Uniqlo is also set to open its second Victorian store at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

Both sites will debut later this year.

Uniqlo Australia CEO Shoichi Miyasaka said the openings signal the brand's commitment to Australia.

“Growing the brand in this market is obviously very important and from what we’ve seen so far, Australians have responded really well to our offering.

"We’re very excited to be bringing UNIQLO to two great new locations in Sydney, now adding the Macquarie Centre to the list.”
