Jewellery giant Tiffany & Co. has announced plans to expand its retail footprint further in Australia.

The brand, which currently operates six stores nationally, has revealed it will open a store at Bondi Junction in November 2012, marking the retailers second location in Sydney.

The approximately 230-square-metre store will be designed by Tiffany architects and interior designers and located in Westfield Bondi Junction, in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs.

The brand's trademark colour 'Tiffany Blue', will also be incorporated in the façade, along with the wheat leaf pattern that frames the entrance of the Fifth Avenue flagship store.

In addition, the stainless steel showcases will be trimmed with the art deco-inspired fluting detail that embellishes the entrance of the New York store.

Tiffany & Co. Australia managing director Glen Schlehuber said the second Sydney store would be a welcome addition to the brand's retail network.

“We look forward to welcoming our many customers to our new store in this exciting shopping centre,” he said.

“Our prime location within the centre is the perfect home for our renowned jewellery collections and conveniently located to service our clientele.”

Tiffany & Co. operates jewellery stores and manufactures products through its subsidiary corporations. Its principal subsidiary is Tiffany and Company.

The Company operates Tiffany & Co. retail stores and boutiques in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Japan and Europe and engages in direct selling through Internet, catalogue and business gift operations.
