Australian eCommerce retailer Catch launched a 48-Hour Non-Stop Price Drop event, coinciding with the timing of Amazon's Prime Day. 

The event which went live on July 15, saw over 50,000 heavily discounted products across all categories become available for 48 hours, with shoppers able to receive up to 80% off on some items, with new deals added throughout the sale. 

The fashion brands available in the sale included Calvin Klein, Ray Ban and Michael Kors. 

Catch CMO Ryan Gracie said that the business' operating model centres on giving consumers the best value. 

"Our 48-Hour Non-Stop Price Drop is one of our biggest sales events of the year where we slash the prices even further on over 50,000 of our top-selling products - including tech, homewares and fashion.

"Australians love to shop at Catch for the unbeatable value we offer.

"Delivering exceptional value is part of our DNA and we continuously strive to provide our customers with the best value, on the biggest brands, day in day out - not just a few days a year," he said. 

Catch's shopping event ended at 9am July 17.
