Streetwear clothing social enterprise HoMie is making a statement with its new A/W18’ range ‘Made in Melbourne’.

This is the first HoMie range to be entirely Australian made with an ethical and sustainable end-to-end process.

From the cotton grown in NSW, to garments manufactured and printed in Melbourne at Ethical Clothing accredited Qualitops and Redwood Press respectively.

The collection is focused on bringing production back home and shifting towards ethical and sustainable supply chains, co-founder Marcus Cook said.

“It was always at the forefront of our mind that we wanted to produce locally now and we're in the position to do that and we're excited."

The campaign aligns with Fashion Revolution Week (April 23 to 29) that calls for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry by encouraging people to ask brands #whomademyclothes.

HoMie’s A/W collection can be purchased at its flagship store in Fitzroy or online at homie.com.au.

HoMie is a streetwear clothing social enterprise that uses 100% of its profits to provide new clothing, training and job opportunities to young people experiencing homelessness.
