International fashion brand Superdry will be drop a limited edition Lunar New Year collection in stores tomorrow.

The brand said it has recognised the profitability of the international tourist market - and the second ‘Christmas rush’ to the Australia’s retail network.

 To distinguish itself from competitors, Superdry has onboarded two Aussies who have found stardom overseas.

David Gulasi, a 36-year-old man from Sydney’s West, is something of a celebrity over in mainland China with over nine million followers across a number of Chinese social media platforms (Weibo/WeChat/TikTok).

Similarly, Bondi born, Beijing based Amy Lyons, has close to one million Chinese followers across WeChat/Weibo and BillyBilly.

Together, the pair are heralded as the faces of Superdry’s Lunar New Year collection and usher in a new ‘season’ of Australian retail.

The collection contains a selection of limited-edition pieces including bombers, joggers, hoodies and t-shirts to fall in line with Lunar New Year 2019.

To celebrate the collaboration, customers will receive an exclusive red envelope gift with every purchase from January 16 to February 12, while stocks last.
