Business Australia has launched a Stimulus Advice Line, a free phone advice service developed to guide businesses through interpreting the complex government stimulus and criteria.

The new service, which received over 200 since it launched on Friday, will operate from 9am-8pm AEST and will provide guidance on understanding financial support available from the Federal, State and Local Government.

Business Australia’s Stimulus Advice Line can help businesses understand:

  • Eligibility: grants, subsidies and other benefits
  • Process: how and where to apply for support
  • Paperwork: what you need to complete application

Business Australia chief customer experience officer Richard Spencer said the free service is aimed at supporting businesses.

“The Stimulus Advice Line was quickly developed as a direct response to the calls for help that we received from many of our 40,000 members trying to understand their eligibility for the stimulus and grants.

"Our experts help to remove the guesswork for business owners and take the complexity and confusion out of navigating financial support.

“The Stimulus Advice Line has received over 200 calls since it launched, highlighting the critical need for this service as businesses across the country work through complexities to access crucial financial support.

"We hope this advice line can alleviate some of these challenges so business owners and managers can focus on sustaining their business as best as possible.”

Any business can access the Stimulus Advice Line by visiting Business Australia’s website.
