Spanish sunglass company Hawkers has launched its eCommerce business in Australia.
The start-up was formed in 2011 and has reportedly billed around AUD$129 million dollars in two and a half years, attributing its success to a robust digital strategy and affordable price point.
The brand began advertising via Facebook using a AUD$71 voucher and now invests AUD$21,500 per day in advertising to draw in around 15 million views.
As such Hawkers has been selected by Google to take part in a programme for high-potential companies and have been subject to a cause study undertaken by Twitter.
The brand has set out on a mission to design and manufacture sunglasses using polarised lenses and frames made from polycarbonate and acetate.
Hawkers has designed limited edition collections for the likes of Mercedes-Benz, PlayStation, Ford and PayPal.
Its Australian eCommerce platform is now live.
Price points range from $25-$59.
