Premier Investments has announced the appointment of Sylvia Falzon as independent non-executive director effective immediately. She has also been appointed as a member of Premier's Audit & Risk Committee.
Falzon brings to Premier an executive career that spanned over nearly 30 years in financial services where she held senior executive positions responsible for institutional and retail funds management businesses, both here in Australia and offshore.
As a non-executive director since 2010, Falzon has experience across a range of sectors and has been involved in a number of business transformations, IPOs, merger and acquisitions and divestment activities. She is currently an independent non-executive director of companies Regis Healthcare and Perpetual.
Premier chairman Solomon Lew said the board was delighted to bring Falzon to the board and highlighted her experience as an integral part of her appointment.
