International fashion retailer Shopbop.com has made its next local move.

The etailer has confirmed a new partnership with Sydney-based agency EVH to assist Shopbop in creating tailored content for the Australian market.

The agency will work to enhance the brand’s engagement with Australian consumers through integrated digital and public relations activity – including the creation of a local social platform, and subsequent bespoke content.

Shopbop joins the EVH Digital Division, which has been responsible for successful campaigns and launches for brands including Scanlan Theodore, Sneakerboy, Capi Sparkling, Farfetch.com and Topshop Topman.

The move marks Shopbop's increasing focus on the Australian market, which it has revealed it views as one of its top five global markets for sales.

As previously reported on ragtrader.com.au, Shopbop, which stocks an array of Australian designers, also confirmed the launch of its new iPhone application in January this year.

Shopbop said its commitment to staying ahead of the curve and providing a personalised shopping experience continues to be a driving force behind the company's success.

Shopbop currently stocks over 800 international brands, offering an array of apparel and accessories with fast, free global shipping.

In 2006, BOP LLC was acquired by Amazon.com, Inc., the world's largest internet retailer, enabling Shopbop to expand its services to enhance the customer experience.
