Sass & Bide is set to return to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia schedule.
This will be the first time Sass & Bide has showed at the trade event in 14 years.
Ragtrader Live will also feature on the schedule with a thought leadership seminar on May 19.
Destination NSW CEO Sandra Chipchase said the event is at a turning point following its realignment from spring/summer to resort.
“Sydney’s credentials as an international fashion capital will once again be on display during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, with the event at the forefront of showcasing resort collections to a global audience,” she said.
“[It follows] the success of last year’s event which saw a 75% increase in international buyers."
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia will take place from May 14 to 19 at Carriageworks.
It will feature 44 designers, with high-profile brands including Alice McCall, Christopher Esber, Romance Was Born, Dion Lee, Ginger & Smart, Bec & Bridge and Bianca Spender.
The event will also feature more menswear designers this season such as Double Rainbouu, Strateas.Carlucci, and Justin Cassin.
A focus on swim, athleisure and emerging designers will wrap up the designer mix.
