Iconic Australian designer, businessman and entrepreneur Peter Morrissey has joined the line-up for the Ragtrader Live event in August.

Morrissey has been at the forefront of the Australian fashion industry for over 30 years, establishing his first fashion label 'Morrissey Edmiston' with former business partner and fellow designer Leona Edmiston in 1983.
Following on from this, Morrissey operated his eponymous fashion label 'Morrissey' and was engaged by Australian airline Qantas in 2003 to design its uniforms in 2003, and also to act as a mentor for their Spirit of Youth Awards.
In 2009, Morrissey successfully crossed over to the mainstream with his exclusive Peter Morrissey range in Big W.
Building on the success of the apparel range, Morrissey also launched his new home wares range HOME by Peter Morrissey exclusive to Big W in early in 2013.
Throughout his professional career Morrissey has had his clothing worn by A-list stars including Nicole Kidman, Elle MacPherson, Helena Christensen, Jerry Hall, Dame Edna, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Megan Gale, Kylie Minogue, Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Isaac, Geoffrey Rush, Michael Hutchence and INXS.
To date, Morrissey has used his extensive design experience working with corporations to redesign their uniforms and corporate branding. Peter Morrissey has dressed 80,000 Australians a day both nationally and internationally through his uniforms work with companies such as Qantas, IAG, OPSM and Novotel Hotels.
He has also received a multitude of awards throughout his career including GQ Man of the Year – Designer 2002, FHM Designer of the Year 2003, 2004 and 2005 and CLEO Maybelline Designer of the Year 2004.
