van Laack Australia, parent holding company to Rhodes & Beckett and Herringbone Sydney, has announced the resignation of MD Nelson Mair.

Mair will conclude tenure with the organisation on April 1, 2015.

Mair managed Rhodes & Beckett Australia as founder and MD whilst also managing Herringbone Sydney since 2012.

van Laack Australia expressed its gratitude to Mair for his commitment to the business and wished him all the best for the future.

Gerard Crawford will succeed Mair as MD of van Laack Australia.

Crawford commenced tenure at van Laack Australia on January 1, 2015 and joins the group with extensive international management experience and wealth of knowledge in the field of premium retail.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Crawford most recently acted as Australian country manager for British shirt-maker T.M. Lewin.

Crawford launched 25 locations in the Australian market since its Australian conception in 2012.

Crawford will further develop the business not only in Australia, but internationally.

Under Crawford's leadership, a new management structure will be implemented at van Laack Australia to support the group.
