Super Retail Group (SRG) has recorded a 61% increase in digital sales across its sport retailing brands including Rebel and Amart Sports.

Total sales growth across the category increased 3.2% with average transaction value growth of 3.3%.

EBITDA for Rebel, Amart Sports and Workout World totalled $105.2 million up 18.7% on last year.

SRG will continue to fully integrate the Workout World into its Rebel business, rebranding as RebelFIT.

In addition, the company has pinned 12 store openings for Amart Sports and two for Rebel.

Growth across the brands follows Rebel's recently actioned a three-tier retail strategy.

The strategy will aim to reposition the business in the sportswear market through a roll out of 'benchmark', 'elevate' and 'accelerate' stores in a bid to enhance its retail experience.

Despite strong performance across its sports brands, SFG's FY16 profits have dipped to $62.8 million following lacklustre results from its lifestyle retailers.
