Melbourne designer Paris Culbertson has reported a successful pivot during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The designer behind the brand Pazadz, a custom order label that specialises in festival wear, has created a line of fashionable masks to sell online.

Following recent advice urging Victorians to wear masks, backed by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee and the Australian Medical Association, the designer has seen demand soar.

Pazadz has seen a 900% increase in units sold and a 325% increase in revenue month on month, according to Culbertson.

“It's crazy," Culbertson said.

"Masks were a late addition to the collection but have since become our number one product."

While the masks are yet to be medically certified, they  are made from 100% linen and retail at $39.
