The National Online Retailers Association (NORA) has announced the appointment of Corinne Franks to fill the new role of GM.

The new role and appointment is part of NORA’s recent expansion of its network and members.

The NORA board includes Asos.com country manager Carly Cazzolli.

The association expanded into sector-specific chapters last month to give more attention to specific industry issues, through advocacy, ambassadorship and thought leadership.

Franks’ previous roles include GM of AIMIA (The Digital Industry Association of Australia) and GM conferences and events for Hanover Fairs Australia.

In her new role at NORA, Franks will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the industry body, bringing together member services, partnership opportunities, and events.

“We are excited to announce the appointment of Corinne Franks to this new role,” said Paul Greenberg, founder of NORA.

“Her background in the digital industry will be hugely valuable, as well as her extensive events experience.

"This is a natural progression for NORA as we expand our network and member services. We welcome Corinne aboard as we commence the next stage of our journey.”

Franks said she is pleased to join the fold.

“NORA is a wonderful opportunity to help the future growth of new retail, one of Australia’s most important sectors as we enter the digital economy. I look forward to working with the team and our industry partners as we develop new member services and continue to support the sector.”
