Mon Purse has upped the experiential ante in custom design with a complete website overhaul.
Working with in-house developers, Mon Purse has created a 3D Bag Builder, a proprietary built front-end using WebGL and JavaScript in HTML.
Once the consumer’s design is digitally crafted, the virtual handbag can be rotated and viewed from every imaginable angle.
By October 2016, the Mon Purse team will elevate this capability with 3D visibility.
The bag builder uses 3D modelling software to render each bag in its fully customised form whilst the consumers select from a range of design options that include leather colour, texture, interior lining, premium hardware and monogramming finishes.
To render the leathers in the most realistic way, the tool uses PBR, a modelling method recently developed in the gaming-industry for leather armour and skin.
The colour matching is precise and what customers see is what they get.
The ‘Triangle Envelope Clutch’ joins the existing family of design-your-own styles that include the Bucket Bag, Shopper Bag, Tote Bag, Pouch, Bowler Bag and Classic Clutch.
All other Mon Purse products remain customisable as is signature to the brand.
Monogramming has also received a make-over with the addition of playful icons.
